Forsight Australia is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide a home-based team of Active Support Workers in Glenmore Park, Sydney. The role blends frontline client support with leadership duties in a hybrid model, including shifts and sleepovers.
You will supervise a small team, collaborate with the Client Care Manager, and help drive high-quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs while promoting inclusion and independence.
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team at one of our modern, purpose-built residential Jacaranda home located in Glenmore Park. This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a supportive environment that prioritises quality care and a positive team culture.
Join a caring organisation where it’s all about enhancing inclusion, independence, and the well-being of our clients and staff.
At Forsight Australia, we believe in creating positive futures through our commitment to innovation, diversity, and continuous learning. As a leading organisation in our field, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that values individual contributions, embraces diversity, and promotes professional growth.
As a ‘for-purpose’ organisation providing Supported Independent Living (SIL) to individuals with a range of sensory impairments and additional disabilities, our focus is to create opportunities for our clients to enhance their independence, inclusion, and well-being.
Forsight was established in 1978 by a group of parents and teachers wanting to ensure their children had a pathway to independent living as young adults and beyond. Their mission has expanded to include people with a range of sensory impairments and disabilities, supporting a growing number of clients in homes. The love and dedication of those original parents and teachers remains at the heart of all we do.
With 16 shared accommodation homes across Greater Sydney and the Illawarra and growing, our mission is to provide high-quality care and improve the quality of life for our clients.

Our Team Leaders work within a hybrid model, combining frontline client support with leadership responsibilities. Typically, they work a shift work roster, spending time alongside our Active Support Workers (ASWs), with two dedicated shifts per week allocated to team leader duties.
In this role, the Team Leader works closely with a dedicated Client Care Manager and Client Care Coordinator to lead a small, home-based team of ASWs, delivering person-centred support that empowers clients in their daily lives.
Strong communication and collaboration with key stakeholders, such as families, guardians, and other service providers, is essential. Equally important is the ability to lead, support, and develop a small but passionate team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
You are enthusiastic, caring and committed to supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life!
Forsight is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We value and welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
