Job summary

Drake Supermarkets Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for our Brave Distribution Centre in Edinburgh North. You will supervise a warehouse team, coordinate daily tasks, and drive safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The successful candidate will have proven team leadership, experience with WMS software, and knowledge of warehouse engineering standards. We offer a collaborative culture, on-site gym access, and rewards for performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environment.
• Experience in operating WMS software.
• Experience working in a supermarket distribution centre.
• Experience and knowledge of engineered standards in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Resource plan to maximise efficiencies and ensure operational success
• Organising and monitoring daily task priorities, inclusive of but not limited to, order picking, goods receiving, goods dispatch, forklift stock movement, inventory management, training of new and existing Team Members, and WHS related tasks
• Ensuring Team Members are achieving required standards of performance, including quality of work performed and accurate completion of tasks, and reviewing performance outcomes with Team Members
• Supporting and nurturing Team Members to allow them to achieve a consistent high level of performance
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal customers/ clients
• Adhering to business policies and procedures, including safe work practices and chain of responsibility directive

Working within a successful and collaborative DC Team, we are looking for a warehouse professional to join and complement our existing team as a Team Leader.
