Job summary

Government client (agency undisclosed) in Sydney seeks a Salesforce Team Lead to drive a critical Flow Migration project, upgrading core applications to Flow automation. You will report to the Program Manager and lead the technical implementation with the project team, delivering on a tight timeline while ensuring quality.

The role requires Salesforce expertise, migration knowledge from Process Builder/Workflow, and strong leadership to plan schedules, manage developers and testers, and liaise

Qualifications

• Experience leading Salesforce projects with Flow automation.
• Migration knowledge from Process Builders and Workflow Rules to Flow.
• Strong scheduling, status tracking and planning capabilities.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• Experience using Jira/Confluence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the Flow Migration project and guide Developers and Test Analysts.
• Quality & Standards: Enforce Salesforce best practices and technical standards.
• Tool Utilisation: Ensure effective use of the Flow Migration tool.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with technology teams on issues, changes and deployments.
• Progress Reporting: Track and report progress, risks, and issues to the Program Manager.

• Contract Length: Until 24 December 2026 (Tentative mandatory shutdown 25 Dec 2026 - 8 Jan 2027)
• Daily Rate: $1,057 + GST
• Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - Minimum 2 days onsite per week)
• Reporting To: Program Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Team Lead to drive a critical Salesforce Flow Migration project . The primary objective of this project is to upgrade core applications to the latest Salesforce Flow automation technology. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you will lead the technical implementation, working in close partnership with the project team to deliver this essential upgrade within a tight timeline.

Key Accountabilities

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the Technical Lead for the Flow Migration project, guiding Developers and Test Analysts through the technical transition.
• Quality & Standards: Ensure technical quality standards and Salesforce best practices are strictly followed at every stage.
• Tool Utilisation: Ensure effective and appropriate utilisation of the Salesforce Flow Migration tool.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with technology teams regarding technical issues, dependencies, change approvals, and code deployments.
• Progress Reporting: Track and report technical progress, risks, and issues to the Program Manager.

Skills & Experience Required

• Salesforce Expertise: Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce projects, upgrades, and Flow automation technology.
• Migration Knowledge: Detailed understanding of migrating from Process Builders and Workflow Rules to Flow Automation .
• Leadership & Planning: Experience building technical implementation schedules, providing regular status tracking, and managing developer/tester workloads.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders to manage expectations and reach agreements.
• Tools: Experience using Atlassian tools ( Jira and Confluence ) is highly advantageous.

Essential Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident .
• Must pass a satisfactory Criminal Record Check .
• Must be politically neutral with no current affiliations to political parties, lobbyists, or campaigners.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
