Job summary

Flourish Australia in Hervey Bay invites applications for a Team Coordinator or Team Coordinator - Peer Specialist. This full-time role (76 hours/fortnight) is based in Hervey Bay, Monday to Friday, Level 4 on the Enterprise Agreement, with a salary starting at $92,000 per annum plus super.

You will supervise staff, mentor with lived experience, and lead recovery-oriented service delivery in the community. Salary packaging and generous leave provisions accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or above in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years experience in community mental health.
• Strong commitment to recovery-based practice.
• Excellent knowledge of local health and community services.
• Understanding of challenges faced by people with lived mental health experience.
• Experience supervising staff in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
• Lived experience (Team Coordinator – Peer Specialist only).
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager to implement programs, policies and local procedures, and assist with planning of projects when required.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and support of lower or similar classified employees.
• Facilitate discussions on individual needs and collaboratively develop and monitor an individual plan.
• Encourage skills development including domestic, social, independence, and education/employment.
• Ensure individual support meets recovery goals and is strengths-based and person-led.
