Job summary

KordaMentha in Sydney is seeking a proactive Team Administrator to join our Office Support team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role supports staff, clients and day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and professionalism.

You will coordinate meetings, manage travel and expenses, prepare documents and maintain a well‑run office. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in administration, excellent communication and a reliable, flexible approach.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in administration or office support.
  • Proactive, organised and reliable approach.
  • Confident in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and professional service orientation.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities with accuracy and focus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administration and office support.
  • Assist with document preparation, formatting, printing, scanning, binding and filing.
  • Coordinate meetings, client presentations, and office events.
  • Support travel bookings, expense reporting and supplier liaison.
  • Prepare new starter workstations and welcome materials.
  • Provide reception coverage and front-of-house support.
  • Maintain meeting rooms, kitchens, print rooms and shared spaces.

Job Description

Are you a proactive, organised and service-focused administrator who enjoys being at the centre of a busy, professional office environment?

We’re looking for a Team Administrator to join our Sydney office and play an important role in supporting our people, clients and day-to-day operations. This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with our Office Support team, Executive Assistants and broader business to help ensure the office runs smoothly, professionally and efficiently.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract, maternity leave cover role.

In this role, you’ll provide broad administrative and office support across a range of areas, including:

  • Supporting staff with day-to-day administration requests and enquiries.
  • Assisting with document preparation, formatting, printing, scanning, binding and electronic filing.
  • Helping coordinate meetings, client presentations, events and office functions, including set‑up, registration and pack‑down.
  • Supporting travel bookings, expense reporting, supplier liaison, printer maintenance requests, petty cash and general office coordination.
  • Helping prepare new starter workstations, welcome materials, stationery and corporate merchandise packs.
  • Providing reception coverage and front‑of‑house support, including preparing meeting rooms and managing incoming calls.
  • Maintaining meeting rooms, kitchen areas, print rooms, stationery, supplies and shared office spaces to a high standard.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in an administration, office support or related role.
  • A proactive, organised and reliable approach.
  • Confidence working in a busy, fast‑paced and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, service‑focused manner.
  • The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to take ownership, use initiative and follow tasks through to completion.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • A flexible and hands‑on mindset, with a genuine willingness to support wherever needed.
