Job summary

Our Client School in Blacktown, NSW is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs in a specialist secondary education setting. This permanent, five-day-per-week role runs during school terms and starts Term 4, 2026.

You will work with teachers and support staff to provide individual and small-group assistance, helping students stay engaged, build confidence and achieve positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people with additional or complex learning needs is essential
• Current Working With Children Check and eligibility to work within a NSW school environment

Our Client School (Secondary, Special Education) is seeking an exprrienced
Teaching Assistant to join their team in Blacktown, NSW.

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary education setting supporting young people who require additional support to successfully engage with their learning.
This is a permanent, five-day-per-week position working during school terms only, commencing Term 4, 2026.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individual and small-group assistance, helping students build confidence, remain engaged in their education and achieve positive learning outcomes.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes
• Current Working With Children Check and relevant eligibility to work within a NSW school environment
