Chisholm Institute of TAFE is seeking an experienced Teacher VCE VM for the Senior Secondary Team, based in Berwick. The role involves planning engaging lessons, delivering sessions with a focus on diverse learners, and ensuring compliance with VCAA/VCE standards.

You will use technology such as Moodle to reach varied learning styles, maintain accurate student data, and differentiate instruction to maximise student outcomes. VIT registration is required.

• Professional currency as required by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Responsabilidades

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions reflecting effective engagement methods.
• Develop and deliver planned teaching using technology (e.g., Moodle) to meet diverse learner needs.
• Ensure materials meet regulatory standards (VCAA VCE, VCE-VM, VPC).
• Maintain attendance and student data in Markbook and Strata for compliance.
• Differentiate learning and assessment to cater for diverse students and settings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a teacher, VCE VM, Senior Secondary, your key responsibilities include:

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners, adapting strategies outlined in the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2.0 and giving consideration to individual, targeted and universal engagement strategies.
• Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle, to engage learners and meet their needs and learning styles.
• Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards including Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) VCE, VCE-VM and VPC course, curriculum and delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up to date student attendance records within Markbook and ensure all student results and information are accurately recorded within Strata to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements, Chisholm Policies and Procedures.
• Enhance the student experience to improve engagement early on and assist learners to interact with their academic and social environment to prevent attrition and to encourage success.
• Differentiate learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities and resources.
