Parramatta East Public School is a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the growing Parramatta area of Western Sydney, with a total enrolment of approximately 430 students. Our school serves a highly diverse, multicultural community, with students and families from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Approximately 85% of our students come from Non-English speaking backgrounds. Less than 1% of our students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
The school is committed to providing an inclusive, supportive and high-expectations learning environment where every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their potential. Our dedicated and collaborative staff work closely with families, learning support teams and external professionals to ensure students receive personalised and evidence-based support.
In 2027, Parramatta East Public School will establish its first Support Class for students with autism, marking an important milestone in the school’s development and in our commitment to providing inclusive, responsive and high-quality educational opportunities for our community.
With a growing enrolment of approximately 430 students and an increasingly diverse multicultural community, the establishment of the Support Class recognises the changing needs of our students and families. It will provide a dedicated, structured and supportive learning environment for students with autism, while strengthening the broader school community’s capacity to understand and respond to diverse learning needs.
The establishment of the class is an exciting opportunity to build expertise, develop strong partnerships with families and allied health professionals, and embed evidence-based inclusive practices across the school. It represents our commitment to ensuring that every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their potential, regardless of their individual learning needs.
This is more than the establishment of a new class—it is the beginning of an important new chapter for Parramatta East Public School and a significant investment in the students and families we serve.
