Our Christian Studies Department plays a vital role in helping students engage thoughtfully with faith, purpose and the Christian story. We are seeking an enthusiastic and thoughtful Christian Studies and Studies of Religion Teacher to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term appointment commencing in Term 1, 2027. This is an opportunity to inspire students through exploration of the Christian faith, while contributing to a school culture grounded in excellence, humility and service.

The successful candidate will be an engaging educator who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, fostering meaningful classroom discussion, and supporting the spiritual and personal growth of young people.

To be successful, you will:

• Have an active and prayerful faith consistent with Christian beliefs, including regular involvement in a church
• Hold NESA-approved teaching qualifications and accreditation, and have experience teaching Studies of Religion
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of evangelical Christian theology and the ability to teach Christian Studies in a way that is engaging, relevant and academically rigorous
• Create inclusive learning environments that encourage curiosity, reflection, discussion and independent thinking
• Possess a strong understanding of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment practices
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a vibrant and coherent Christian Studies programme
• Communicate with professionalism, warmth and genuine care for students and families
• Actively support and model the School's Christian ethos
• Be interested in contributing to the co-curricular life of the School
