Bundaberg Christian College is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide to support learning enrichment and assist classrooms under the guidance of the Learning Enrichment Coordinator. The role includes helping individual students and small groups, maintaining records, and supporting health, safety, and excursions.

Applicants should have a Certificate in Education Support (Desirable), a current Working with Children Check, and a First Aid certificate ( CPR).

A Teacher Aide will report to the relevant Learning Enrichment Coordinator. The Teacher Aide contributes to the College's vision and philosophy of delivering innovative and researched-based models of instruction underpinned by clear expectations and high-quality learning outcomes. The role also seeks to support teaching staff as they nurture and pastorally care for students.

Applicants who demonstrate an active Biblical faith that aligns with the College's Statement of Faith, currently being expressed in a Christian Church, are invited to apply. Applicants must also demonstrate conduct that aligns with the College's religious beliefs, as well as demonstrate an ability to inspire students to embrace high standards of Christian character, scholarship and diligence.

• Provide professional, helpful service to students, parents and staff and positively represent the College.

Qualifications

• Possess a Certificate in Education Support, Individual Support or similar (Desirable)
• Hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Hold a current nationally recognised First Aid Certificate, including CPR, or be willing to obtain.

Previous experience supporting children or young people with physical disabilities and/or complex support needs, including mobility assistance, wheelchair use and personal care such as toileting, is highly desirable.
