Kelly+Partners in Sydney is seeking an experienced Tax Advisory Manager to lead complex advisory engagements for private business owners, family groups and high-net-worth individuals. This pure advisory role focuses on corporate and international tax, structuring and transactions, with close work alongside Partners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in tax consulting or tax advisory within professional services.
• LLB with Master of Taxation/CTA or equivalent postgraduate studies highly regarded.
• Strong technical tax expertise across corporate tax, international tax, and advisory matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax advisory engagements for private businesses, family groups and high-net-worth clients.
• Provide strategic advice across corporate tax, international tax, business structuring and transactions.
• Manage tax due diligence engagements, restructures, acquisitions, disposals and other significant client projects.
• Lead the technical approach to ATO reviews, audits, objections, disputes and private ruling applications.
• Review and finalise technical advice, reports and client deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships and provide practical, commercially focused solutions to complex issues.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members while providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Manage workflow across multiple engagements and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support new business growth.
