Job summary

Poole Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking Tax Accountants at junior, intermediate and senior levels to join multiple teams. You will work with a broad client base, delivering accounting, taxation and advisory services across diverse structures.

Based in Birtinya, you’ll join a friendly, supportive team that values growth, offers study support, mentoring and flexible development paths as you progress your career in public practice.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce or currently studying.
• Completed, commenced or willing to commence CPA/CA.
• Previous public practice experience - we will consider all levels as we have several roles available in various teams.
• Business Services, Tax and BAS experience; Tax Planning experience or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills is an absolute must; strong tax compliance & research skills.
• Ambition to succeed and be able to work autonomously with a great work ethic.
• Previous experience in XERO & Microsoft Office Suite; XPM and FYI Docs helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide public practice accounting, taxation and related business services to a client base of individuals through to companies.
• Interact in a client-facing capacity, especially at senior levels, and mentor other staff where needed.
• Support tax planning and compliance across diverse client structures; review work where applicable.

The Roles - We are seeking juniors, intermediates and seniors for various teams within our practice

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are continuing to expand our portfolio and are on the lookout for Tax Accountants - we are interested in all levels for various teams - so if you are junior, intermediate or senior - please get in touch as we may just be the right fit for us.

All positions currently available will work with a broad and diverse range of established clients, providing you with both challenging and interesting work.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide public practice accounting, taxation and related business services to a client base of individuals through to companies operating via various business and investment structures. We will work to your strengths and help you grow within this ever changing industry.

As a senior we will be looking to utilise your experience in a more client facing role where you may even be able to mentor other staff and review work files.

What you will bring to the team:
