Strategic Tax & Business Solutions in Caboolture is seeking an experienced tax accountant to join our boutique firm. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs, while managing your own workload and communicating directly with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Australian public practice tax accounting experience.
• Strong experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.
• Good understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Some SMSF experience or exposure.
• Experience with Xero and accounting/tax software.

Strategic Tax & Business Solutions – Caboolture QLD

You'll work across individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs, with the opportunity to manage your own workflow and deal directly with clients. You'll have autonomy in your role, but you definitely won't be left on your own. We're a close team, we bounce things off each other, help each other out when things get busy and are always looking for better ways to do things.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing BAS, IAS and FBT returns

About you

• Confidence communicating directly with clients
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Xero and accounting/tax software
• IPA, CPA or CA qualifications, or working towards them, preferred
• Friendly, approachable, takes ownership of your work and genuinely enjoys helping clients
