Job summary

MyState is seeking a Manager Community Engagement to lead community partnerships and engagement activities across Tasmania. You will oversee partnerships with MyState Bank Arena and programs through the MyState Foundation, while coordinating volunteering and workplace giving for staff.

This hands-on role combines relationship management, events delivery and activation planning. You will collaborate with partners, manage sponsorships, and drive community impact across the state.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, partnerships, sponsorships, events, stakeholder management or a similar field.
• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong project management capability and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to step in wherever needed.
• A genuine passion for community impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with community organisations, partners and internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Oversight of partnerships and grant programs through the MyState Foundation, and activations linked to the Arena partnership.
• Create opportunities for staff to engage with communities through volunteering and workplace giving programs.
• Lead events, sponsorship ticketing and hospitality experiences and support employee events and People initiatives.
