Ampol Limited is hiring a driver at our Gladstone depot to operate a modern B-Double tanker, delivering fuel across Central Queensland. The role requires independence, a safety-driven approach, and teamwork within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Current MC Licence required.
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Strong safety focus.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a rotating triple-shift roster.
• Reliability and commitment to doing the job right.
• Dangerous Goods Licence (DG) considered a plus.
• Safe Loading Pass (SLP) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operating a modern B-Double tanker safely and professionally.
• Completing deliveries across Central Queensland.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and vehicle checks.
• Managing delivery documentation and compliance requirements.
• Building positive relationships with customers.
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
• Working closely with a supportive operations team to ensure reliable service delivery.
