Job summary

Ampol in Brisbane is seeking an experienced MC Driver to deliver bulk fuel across Brisbane and Greater Brisbane from our Hemmant depot. This full-time role operates on a rotating triple-shift roster and suits a safety-conscious driver who works independently as part of a high-performing team.

You will perform pre-start checks, complete delivery documentation, build strong customer relationships, and uphold the highest safety and professionalism standards while supporting our operations team to

Qualifications

• Current MC Licence and proven heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and ability to work a rotating triple-shift roster.
• Reliability and commitment to doing the job right.
• Not essential but advantageous: tanker experience and DG/SLP credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operating a modern MC Truck tanker safely and professionally.
• Completing bulk fuel deliveries to Brisbane and Greater Brisbane.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and vehicle checks.
• Managing delivery documentation and compliance requirements.
• Building positive relationships with customers.
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
• Collaborating with the operations team to ensure reliable service delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Current MC Licence

• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience

• Strong safety focus

• Fuel transport experience

• Tanker experience

• Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence
