Job summary

Ampol is seeking a dedicated MC Driver - B Double on dayshift for the Emerald Depot in Central Queensland. You will safely deliver bulk fuels and lubricants to our customers, upholding safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

This role welcomes industry experience but offers training for newcomers; you’ll join a team that values safety, punctuality, and high service standards across the region.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence is required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written).
• Customer service experience and a safety focus are essential.
• Experience operating a MC B double truck is preferred.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

About the role

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced MC Driver - B Double on dayshift who values safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic to become part of our dynamic team at the Emerald Depot. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering bulk fuels and lubricants safely, efficiently, and sustainably across Central Queensland Region. Fuel Industry experience is desirable however we welcome new to industry and we'll provide the training and support you need to build a rewarding career in the industry.

Must haves

• Commitment to Ampol's values
• A current MC licence
• Strong communication (verbal, written and presentation) with persuasive ability to influence change.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Safety focussed.
• Customer service experience
• Demonstrated experience operating a MC B double truck

Nice to haves:

• Fuel transport industry experience
• Current DG licence
• Current SLP licence
• Operational knowledge of relevant laws and statutes applying to the transport of petroleum products including OH&S, Environmental, Dangerous Goods and Transportation rules and regulations.
