Job summary

Nova Systems is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcing Advisor for a six‑month, hands‑on contract. Based in Adelaide or Canberra, you will proactively source engineering and technical talent and help turn challenging searches into great hires.

You will work closely with TA Partners, screen and pre‑qualify candidates, build talent pools, and use LinkedIn, the ATS and other channels to meet current and future recruitment needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated talent acquisition experience with sourcing focus.
• Ability to engage passive candidates and build pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with TA partners in a project-based environment.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional who is immediately available to join us as a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Advisor for six months. This is a hands‑on sourcing role for someone who gets energy from connecting with people, uncovering talent and turning a challenging search into a great hiring outcome.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced Talent Acquisition team, helping us source specialist engineering and technical talent in a busy, project‑based environment.

What you will be involved with

Working closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners, you will:

• Proactively source and engage active and passive talent across specialist engineering and technical roles.
• Screen and pre‑qualify candidates, build talent pools and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the process.
• Use LinkedIn, our ATS and other sourcing channels to identify talent, manage candidate information and support current and future recruitment requirements.

• Talent Acquisition experience and a genuine passion for sourcing, particularly the challenge of finding hard‑to‑find talent.
• Energy, resilience and a sense of urgency, with the initiative to keep looking and try different approaches when a search is challenging.
• Strong people skills and a natural ability to connect, engage and build relationships with candidates.
• Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
