Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a customer-focused Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in Australia. This full-time, in-office role involves spearheading candidate generation with hiring managers across diverse roles, building strong pipelines, and driving efficient recruiting practices.

You will engage with recruiters and hiring managers to understand roles, evaluate candidates, and deliver top talent while maintaining AWS’s high standards and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical recruiting in high volume, high hiring bar environments.
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
• Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines.
• Experience in complex compensation build, offer negotiation and closing/objection handling.

Responsibilities

• Understand roles with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive research and relationship management.
• Utilise sourcing channels including referrals, CRM, career portals, and job fairs.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the talent market and contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes.
• Implement and refine recruiting processes to align with Amazon's high-quality hiring standards.
• Assess candidate skills and fit to ensure a high hiring bar across hires.
