Pacific National is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (6-month contract) based in North Sydney to join our high-performing Talent Acquisition team. This role supports end-to-end recruitment across operational and corporate portfolios, partnering with hiring managers to deliver timely hiring outcomes and an outstanding candidate experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recruitment experience and a passion for building relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recruitment experience gained within an agency, RPO or internal recruitment environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles.
• Coordinate recruitment activities including job advertising, candidate screening, interview scheduling and offer management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and support recruitment outcomes.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist with talent attraction initiatives and talent pooling activities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data within recruitment systems.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver quality hiring outcomes.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (6-month contract) to join our high-performing Talent Acquisition team based in North Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of recruitment experience who is looking to develop their career in Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Working closely with leaders and the People & Culture team, you'll support the delivery of recruitment activities across both operational and corporate portfolios while helping to provide an outstanding candidate experience.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will:

• Support end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of operational and corporate roles.
• Coordinate recruitment activities including job advertising, candidate screening, interview scheduling and offer management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and support recruitment outcomes.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist with talent attraction initiatives and talent pooling activities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data within our recruitment systems.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver quality hiring outcomes.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Collaborate with the wider People & Culture team on recruitment projects and process improvements.
• Ensure recruitment activities are compliant, consistent and aligned with company processes.

What You'll Bring

• 1-2 years' recruitment experience gained within an agency, RPO or internal recruitment environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• A passion for delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Confidence using recruitment systems, Microsoft Office applications and other recruitment tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Experience recruiting within logistics, transport, industrial, engineering or other blue-collar environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
