Atelier Alterations in Sydney CBD is looking for an experienced Tailor to join our team on a casual basis. You will perform high-quality alterations focused on men’s suiting and other garments, working with precision and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker, strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction, and the ability to work independently within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker.
• Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction.
• Experience working with men’s suiting (highly regarded).
• Ability to work across different garment types (men’s, women’s, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Perform a wide range of alterations including shorten sleeves, hemming, taking in/letting out, length adjustments, and more.
• Work with precision, quality and productivity.
• Use industrial and standard sewing machines confidently.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
