Newmont Australia at Cadia near Orange, NSW, is seeking a planning-focused professional to join the Tailings team in a permanent onsite role. You will develop integrated plans, schedules and forecasting models to support safe, efficient operations, spanning deposition, storage capacity and water balance.

You will work with Operations, Mine Planning, Tailings and Environmental teams to optimise performance, support governance and audits, and help deliver sustainable value for local communities.

Formación

• Experience in tailings planning or mine planning advantageous.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
• Ability to work across operational and technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain short- to long-term tailings deposition schedules aligned to production.
• Forecast storage capacity, deposition performance and water balance outcomes.
• Monitor deposition and operations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations, mine planning and environmental teams on tailings storage performance.
• Support audits, governance and reviews related to tailings storage operations.
