Job summary

Newmont Corporation's Cadia operation in central New South Wales seeks a seasoned Manager Asset Management to optimise equipment use, reliability and cost-effectiveness while supporting safe, productive mine operations.

You will lead asset management strategies, develop lifecycle plans, monitor performance and guide engineers and contractors, collaborating with Mine Technical Services, Operations, Finance and planning teams to deliver integrated plans that sustain Cadia’s assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Extensive asset management experience with increasing responsibility.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and maintenance practices.
• Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management strategies to improve equipment availability and safety.
• Develop and maintain asset lifecycle plans and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Monitor performance, costs and identify improvement opportunities; mentor engineers and manage contractors.
• Collaborate across Mine Technical Services, Mine Operations, Finance and other teams to deliver integrated plans.
