Job summary

Downer in Canberra is seeking a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Manager to lead the systems integration team in testing strategy across networked systems and interfaces.

You will plan, design, manage, execute and report on test activities, lead specialist T&E across experimentation, operational, acceptance and cyber testing, and ensure traceability from requirements to test scripts and environments.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, designing and executing tests across networked systems.
• Ability to create regression test packs and maintain defect registers.
• Experience reporting progress, risks and system quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, manage, execute and report on test activities for networked systems and their interfaces
• Lead specialist T&E across experimentation, operational, acceptance (compliance and performance) and cyber testing
• Create test cases from functional and non-functional specifications, with traceability back to requirements
• Produce test scripts, test materials and regression test packs, and specify the environment, data, resources and tools needed
• Execute and document complex test scripts, record and analyse results, maintain a defect register, and adjust tests where needed
• Report on progress, anomalies, risks and issues, and report on system quality using test metrics
• Engage stakeholders across projects, organisations and ICT providers to resolve integration issues and support informed engineering decisions
• Provide specialist testing advice to others
