Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and community.
• Commitment to department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals;
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation;
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the Principal;
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings;
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
