AECOM’s Energy practice in Australia and New Zealand seeks an Industry Director – System Planning & Grid Integration Lead to shape market strategy, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive delivery across ANZ. Based in Melbourne with a broad geographic remit, you will guide technical excellence and client relationships on large-scale energy projects at utility scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic growth of the Systems Planning & Grid Integration practice area across ANZ.
• Provide oversight of energy business leaders from market and industry perspectives.
• Lead client management with current and new strategic clients, fostering long-term trusted advisor relationships.
• Elevate specialist technical excellence and verification across the discipline for large, complex utility-scale projects.
• Develop and mentor leaders, building a high-performing team culture with succession plans.
• Provide strategic technical leadership across renewable energy, battery storage and power generation projects.
