Job summary

AECOM in Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Network Planning Leader to guide our network planning capability across the region. You’ll shape strategy, lead cross‑functional teams, and partner with utilities, developers and government bodies to solve complex transmission, distribution and storage challenges.

This senior role blends technical leadership with client engagement and market insight, delivering high‑impact projects while mentoring engineers and expanding the energy business across

Qualifications

Significant experience in power systems, transmission and distribution planning, network strategy or grid integration.
Strong understanding of electricity networks and energy markets.
Experience with utilities, regulators or large infrastructure clients.
Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams on large projects.

Responsibilities

Lead Network Planning across Australia and New Zealand.
Provide technical leadership on transmission, distribution and grid studies.
Develop long-term network investment strategies for decarbonisation.
Mentor technical leaders and build capability across energy teams.
Collaborate with regional and global experts to deliver solutions.
