Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Integrator to join a high‑performing delivery team. You will support sustainment and evolution of complex systems, applying systems engineering principles within governance frameworks and collaborating with architects, engineers and project teams.

The role emphasizes risk management, requirements traceability, and engineering artefacts across the system lifecycle in secure government environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a systems engineer in complex projects or sustainment environments.
• Proven ability to work in secure enterprise, Defence, or government environments.
• Comfort with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience eliciting, analysing and managing requirements across the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment and evolution of complex systems within engineering governance and assurance gates.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects and project teams to define requirements and artefacts.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation including requirements and impact assessments.
• Support change control, baselines and configuration integrity with CM personnel.
• Contribute to verification, validation activities and requirements traceability.
• Identify and manage technical risks and escalate complex issues per processes.
• Ensure activities comply with security, quality and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical advice to architects and project members to support delivery outcomes.
