Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a senior software engineering leader to design, deliver and evolve secure software solutions for a mission‑critical Defence program. You will work with product owners, engineers and customers to shape technical direction and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience guiding Agile teams, strong architecture skills and the ability to manage technical risks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading software engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Experience in software architecture, systems integration and enterprise‑level applications.
• Ability to guide technical decision‑making and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the software lifecycle for a Defence capability.
• Lead cross‑functional Agile teams and foster engineering excellence.
• Drive architectural decisions, roadmaps and modern engineering practices.
