Job summary
L3Harris Australia (Integrated Mission Systems Australia) seeks a Systems Engineer to deliver underwater range tracking capabilities and shore facilities. You will collaborate with software, V&V, Safety, Cyber, Configuration Management & ILS to provide engineering artefacts and trusted guidance.
Your remit includes producing engineering documentation and shaping design definitions across the lifecycle while considering cost, schedule and quality, including testing and maintenance considerations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
- Able and willing to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
- Defence industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the operation of communications equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the production and delivery of engineering documentation across the project lifecycle.
- Support the technical solutions (systems definition, design and architecture) through the project lifecycle to optimise cost, schedule and quality.
- Consider design for testing, maintenance and support.
