The Systems Engineer role in Fremantle supports engineering outputs, ensures compliance with processes, and collaborates with project teams to deliver mission-critical results.

Eligible applicants must be able to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1).

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or relevant Scientific Discipline.
• Able and willing to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1
• Defence industry experience preferred
• Suitable qualifications and experience to meet the requirements of Chartered Engineer (Engineers Australia)

About The Role

The Systems Engineer supports the creation of the engineering outputs for their assigned project/s in accordance with the agreed project/program tailoring to meet the needs of our customers and IMSA legal obligations.

The Systems Engineer is responsible to ensure agreed Engineering Processes within their assigned project are followed. Where applicable deviation from process is discussed and agreed through the discipline leads, engineering leads and relevant project managers, thus supporting the overall governance of the Engineering Processes within IMSA.

The key responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include but are not limited to:

Qualifications And Experience

• Demonstrated relevant experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
• Able and willing to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1
• Defence industry experience preferred

• Suitable qualifications and experience to meet the requirements of Chartered Engineer (Engineers Australia)
