This role is responsible for supporting systems engineering, automation, operational tooling and infrastructure reliability across highly secure AWS environments supporting sensitive workloads. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, collaboration and the ability to operate within fast-paced operational and engineering environments.

The role

As a Systems Development Engineer within AWS Region Services, you will support the development, automation and operational reliability of secure cloud infrastructure environments. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting systems engineering and operational tooling activities

• Experience with distributed systems at scale highly regarded

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship required
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security Clearance
• Ability to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment
• Ability to participate in on-call and out-of-hours operational support as required
• Ability to work within highly secure operational environments
