Woods & Co Recruitment in Melbourne's South East is partnering with a globally recognised organisation to recruit experienced Systems Technicians. You will be hands-on with air monitoring shelters, instrumentation racks and electrical/mechanical assembly, reporting to the engineering team.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours, immediate start, no overtime, and potential extension. Attractive hourly rate with Super and a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Ideally 3-5+ years' experience in a similar hands-on technical role.
• Background in instrumentation, electrical or mechanical assembly, manufacturing, field service, maintenance or systems integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical wiring, pneumatic systems and mechanical assembly.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
• Soldering experience would be advantageous.
• Trade certificate, TAFE qualification or equivalent technical background highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to full-time hours.

Responsabilidades

• Pneumatic plumbing and electrical wiring of instrumentation racks.
• Mechanical and electrical assembly in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Manufacturing, integration and testing of monitoring equipment and systems.
• Conducting fault-finding, troubleshooting and functional testing.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Assisting engineers with system modifications, improvements and testing.
• Maintaining quality standards, testing documentation and workshop safety.
• Supporting the preparation and final testing of systems prior to delivery.

Woods & Co Recruitment are partnering with a well-established, internationally recognised organisation specialising in advanced environmental monitoring, instrumentation and engineering solutions to recruit experienced Systems Technicians for their facility out in Melbourne's South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for hands-on, technically minded individuals with experience across electrical and mechanical assembly, instrumentation, manufacturing or systems integration.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, our client is looking for reliable and skilled technicians who can hit the ground running, working alongside an experienced engineering and technical team.

Offering $40–$45 per hour, consistent Monday-to-Friday hours, no overtime requirements and the potential for contract extension, this is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a highly regarded organisation.
