Job summary

CC Pines, based in Sydney, seeks a Project Manager to own the Darwin project end-to-end. You will work from Sydney with monthly trips to site, managing the programme, budget, team and client relationships to deliver a Defence-linked build.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary site team, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and ensure safety and cost control while maintaining strong leadership and a proactive approach to risk and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on commercial, infrastructure or government construction projects.
• Experience with Defence/DFAT or other government-funded projects is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to travel to Darwin approximately once a month.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Darwin project: program, budget, quality and safety.
• Lead and coordinate the site team, subcontractors and consultants remotely and on site.
• Manage client relationships as the primary contact.
• Oversee cost control, forecasting and commercial performance with the Contracts team.
• Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and CC Pines' zero-incident track record.
• Report progress and performance to senior leadership.
• Travel to Darwin roughly monthly to maintain on-the-ground oversight.
