About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Interior Designer with 3 to 6 years of commercial workplace experience to join their dynamic Sydney team located in the heart of the CBD.

In this permanent full-time role, you will be deeply involved in planning, designing, and coordinating commercial space transformations.

You will support and lead projects through concept design, spatial planning, design development, complex documentation, and construction administration.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile corporate head offices, bespoke speculative suites, and national commercial rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop functional and aesthetically innovative design solutions that align with client briefs, spatial needs, and budget parameters


• Produce comprehensive design documentation, BIM models, and visual presentations using Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite


• Research and specify materials, finishes, products, and sustainable design elements aligned with Greenstar, WELL, and NABERS guidelines


• Collaborate closely with in-house estimators, site managers, and project delivery teams to oversee on-site implementation, resolve technical challenges, and ensure design intent is fully realised


• Participate in site measurements, furniture audits, costing reviews, and construction phase quality controlAttend client meetings, present creative concepts, and foster ongoing relationships alongside senior design leaders and business development teams


• Contribute positively to team culture through active idea sharing, market insights, and continuous design improvement

About You

• 3 to 6 years of commercial interior design experience, preferably within workplace design and construction


• Demonstrated experience taking commercial projects through concept, documentation, and on-site delivery


• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite


• Sound understanding of Australian building codes, local compliance standards, construction methods, and detailing


• Strong conceptual design skills with a passion for sustainable, ethical, and local design principles


• Excellent spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and close attention to detail


• Proven ability to work autonomously when required while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment


• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing scenarios
