Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia seeks a qualified Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join the Metropolitan Concrete Maintenance Team in the Sydney area. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance across batching plants, conveyors, motors and PLCs, ensuring safety and minimal downtime.

The role offers autonomy across multiple sites with a company vehicle, PPE and tools provided, plus extensive development opportunities. An EH line up with strong safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Electrical trades qualification required.
Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong fault-finding across LV motors, control wiring and automation.

Responsibilities

Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on batching plants, conveyors and control systems.
Fault finding and reducing unplanned downtime.
Support plant upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure WHS compliance and internal safety protocols.
Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruption.
Maintain service records and assist on-site contractors.
