Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Sydney is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join the Metropolitan Concrete Maintenance Team. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on batching plants, conveyors, motors, PLCs and control systems, with autonomy across multiple sites in the Sydney Metro area.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will also drive plant upgrades, support continuous improvement, ensure WHS compliance, and work closely with production to minimise

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence & White Card.
• High Risk Work Licence (e.g. EWP).
• Industrial maintenance experience (concrete, mining, manufacturing or heavy industry preferred).
• Ability to interpret schematics and work independently or in a team.
• Other tickets (First Aid, CPR, LV Rescue, Forklift, CN) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on batching plants, conveyors, motors, PLCs and control systems.
• Fault finding and reducing unplanned downtime.
• Supporting plant upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian electrical standards and internal safety protocols.
• Collaborating with production teams to minimise disruption.
• Maintaining accurate service records and supporting contractors on site.
