Job summary

National Workforce is partnering with a leading Australian food producer to recruit a Maintenance Electrician for their Revesby site. You will maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems across a fast-paced production facility.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot PLCs, read schematics and conduct preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence is essential.
• Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical domains.
• Experience with PLCs, instrumentation and automation.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation and VSDs and control systems.
• Maintain pumps, motors, sensors, solenoids and process equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with site procedures.
• Liaise with production, quality and contractors to minimise downtime.
