Job summary

HLB Mann Judd in Sydney's Barangaroo office is seeking an Insolvency Senior Accountant to join the Restructuring & Risk Advisory division. You will contribute to Receiverships, Voluntary Administrations, and advisory engagements, working with Partners and senior staff to manage key workstreams from appointment through completion.

You will be part of a growing team of 17, supporting junior members, and developing technical skills while delivering quality outcomes for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in restructuring, accounting or audit.
• Degree from a recognised university eligible for CA program.
• CA or CPA qualification (or near completed).
• Current IEP if CA completed.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the completion of components of small to medium assignments in Receiverships, Voluntary Administrations and advisory engagements.
• Independently manage Creditors Voluntary Liquidations and Members Voluntary Liquidations with junior support.
• Assist Directors & Partners with large, complex advisory assignments to build experience and skills.
• Monitor engagement completion using internal systems and communication.
• Participate in firm-wide senior initiatives and networking to grow your professional network.
• Train and supervise junior team members on engagements and processes.
• Review and finalize standard administration tasks and contribute to process improvements.
