Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience as a research associate or lead analyst, or alternatively as an investment analyst within funds management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and spreadsheet analysis.
• Ability to work under pressure when required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide lead coverage of small-cap Australian listed companies and broaden coverage across general industrials.
• Provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis and financial models.
• Present and market to fund managers, clients, and internal sales teams.
• Develop and maintain research quality and communication with the client base.
• Take ownership of research coverage and contribute to market insights.
