Job summary

Gordon Brothers Industries in Sydney seeks a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of industrial refrigeration and process cooling projects across food & beverage, mining, chemical, and industrial sectors.

You will manage project deliverables, coordinate installation and commissioning activities, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Opportunities to work with leading clients and state‑of‑the‑art decarbonisation tech.

Qualifications

• Experience in project engineering or project management within industrial sectors.
• Strong technical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting installation, commissioning, or maintenance activities.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
• A proactive and safety‑conscious approach with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver industrial refrigeration and sustainability‑focused projects.
• Support design, installation, commissioning, and handover of refrigeration systems.
• Drive project outcomes to ensure on‑time delivery and budget adherence.
• Coordinate internal and external project resources to meet milestones.
• Monitor project finances and maintain accurate forecasting.
• Provide regular updates to customers and senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Champion a strong safety culture across all project activities.
