Job summary

Apply Now in Sydney is seeking an AML Compliance Officer to implement and manage the firm's AML framework, including client onboarding, CDD/EDD, and screening. relocation to Sydney is required and a relocation contribution may be available.

You'll work closely with partners and staff, utilizing First AML, Practice Evolve, and Microsoft 365 to maintain audit-ready records, reviews, and reporting. Full-time role in Sydney CBD with flexible start date.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, or regulated environments.
• Understanding of client onboarding, identity verification and screening.
• Strong documentation and audit recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage AML cases in First AML from setup to completion.
• Review client information and beneficial ownership, coordinate CDD/EDD.
• Evaluate PEP, sanctions and adverse screening results and escalate where needed.
• Track ongoing CDD reviews with clear audit records.
• Support AML reporting, QA, testing and process improvements.
• Be the go-to person for First AML queries and staff training.
