Job summary

Switchboard Manufacturing based in Melbourne's north is seeking a Switchboard Designer/Draftsperson to join an experienced engineering team. You will contribute to the drafting and design of LV and HV distribution boards for government, industry and utilities projects.

The ideal candidate has prior electrical switchboard design/drafting experience, strong AutoCAD (2D/3D), and can work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical / Switchboard designing/drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D/3D modelling preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and drafting on electrical projects, distribution boards and mech/elec installation projects.
• Actively contribute to client/contractor meetings and build relationships with project stakeholders.
• Design and documentation tasks with advanced AutoCAD 2D/3D modelling.
• Electrical services schematics and single line diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with QA systems and processes.

Switchboard Designer / Draftsperson

Join an experienced engineering team, where you will contribute to the drafting and design of LV and HV Distribution boards.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical design and drafting on electrical projects, distribution boards and mechelec installation projects
• Actively contribute to client / contractor meetings and building relationships with project stakeholders
• Design and documentation tasks with an advanced we knowledge in the use of AutoCAD 2D/3D modelling
• Electrical Services Schematics and Single Line Diagrams
• Ensuring compliance with the company QA systems and processes
