Job summary

EMU Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Switchboards Draftsman to prepare drawings for custom switchboards rated for over 1,000A. The role requires a strong capability to interpret electrical diagrams and apply Form of Segregations, IP Ratings, fault levels and discrimination studies.

You will work with up-to-date Australian Standards for switchboards and contribute to precise, compliant drawings for high-capacity installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in preparing drawings for custom switchboards rated for over 1,000A.
• Sound interpretation capability to prepare electrical single diagrams.
• Sound understanding of Form of Segregations.
• Sound understanding of various IP Ratings.
• Sound understanding of Fault Levels.
• Sound understanding of Discrimination Studies.
• Sound understanding of latest Australian Standards for Switchboards.
