As a Swimming Lessons Teacher with the YMCA, you are an essential component in the delivery of YMCA aquatic education programs and services. You are required to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of YMCA aquatic programs, educational trends and industry development.
To provide a platform of learning how to swim, lifesaving opportunities for anyone who enters the water. You will ensure a safe aquatic area by professionally supervising the class, identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks, being positive role models, lifesaving and administering first aid as required, and providing excellent customer service.
