Job summary

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) invites casual swimming coaches to join our team. You will deliver face-to-face training sessions across competitive and recreational streams within the MQU Squad program, reporting to the Head Coach.

Responsibilities include coaching across development stages, planning seasonal training, and supporting race events. Role requires NSW Working with Children Check, current First Aid and CPR certificates, with hours varying through the season and

Qualifications

• Customer-centric mindset with coaching experience in aquatics.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Experience teaching and coaching within aquatics.

Responsibilities

• Coach swimmers from Junior Development to Senior Competition.
• Develop seasonal training plans with stroke correction and performance focus.
• Provide guidance to swimmers of varying abilities and adapt stroke models.
• Attend and coach at club races and internal/external competitions.
• Coordinate running of internal club racing opportunities with Head Coach.
• Support athlete retention and growth through CRM feedback.
