Job summary

Rainbow Club Australia is seeking an experienced Squad Swim Coach to deliver structured, inclusive squad training sessions at Sutherland Rainbow Club on Saturdays.

The role is casual with a weekend schedule and a starting pay of A$39.48–A$41.64 per hour plus super. CPR, WWCC/Blue Card and NDIS Worker Check are required; ideal for coaches with strong competitive stroke knowledge and the ability to adapt training for swimmers of all abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certification in competitive strokes coaching (Toward[s] Competitive Strokes & Coaching or SWIM Australia Foundation Coach).
• Experience coaching squads or competitive swimmers.
• Able to adapt training for swimmers of varying abilities.
• Current CPR, WWCC/Blue Card and NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

• Coach competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly).
• Develop endurance, starts, turns and race skills.
• Deliver engaging, structured squad sessions.
• Adapt sets and coaching style to learner needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive squad culture.
• Provide hands-on in-water coaching during sessions.

Rainbow Club Australia is seeking an experienced Squad Swim Coach to deliver structured, inclusive squad training sessions at Sutherland Rainbow club on Saturdays.

This role is ideal for a coach with strong competitive stroke knowledge who is passionate about adapting training to support swimmers of all abilities.

About the Role

• Coach competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly)
• Develop endurance, starts, turns and race skills
• Deliver engaging, structured squad sessions
• Adapt sets and coaching style to meet diverse learning and physical needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive squad culture
• Work in the water during sessions to provide hands-on support, demonstrate techniques and assist with stroke correction where required

About You

• Must have any of the following certification : Towards Competitive Strokes & Coaching/ SWIM Australia™ Foundation Coach Teacher of Competitive Strokes
• Experience coaching squads or competitive swimmers
• Confident adapting training for swimmers with varying abilities
• Current CPR, WWCC/Blue Card and NDIS Worker Check
