Job summary

Sam Riley Training and Development in Springfield, QLD, is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our swim school operations and team. You will oversee 10-15 staff, drive program delivery, maintain safety standards, manage rosters and customer service, and foster a positive culture that supports learning and fun for children and families.

You will report to senior management and work five days per week with a weekend day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management/leadership roles.
• Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety/Swim Australia equivalent (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Overall development and performance of the swim school.
• Promote and deliver the swim program in a fun and engaging way.
• Work with senior management to ensure efficient operation and execution of strategies.
• Maintain open two-way communication between staff and management.
• Manage staff procedures, rosters, and leave requests with strong organizational skills.
• Ensure safety, health and wellbeing of clients within the facility.
