Job summary

Future Swim seeks a dynamic leader to be the face of the business, driving profitability and growth within the aquatic industry. You will lead safety initiatives, recruit and train staff, and manage rosters and daily operations while fostering a culture that mirrors our mission and values.

A strong business acumen and proven track record are essential. You will oversee water quality, stock management, enrolments and bookings, and coaching to develop outstanding teachers.

Qualifications

• Must hold First Aid & CPR certifications.
• AUSTSWIM teaching qualification required.
• Working with children check is mandatory.
• Drivers Licence preferred but not essential.
• Experience in pool operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety in and out of water.
• Recruit and train staff.
• Roster water and admin hours.
• Coach and develop staff through meetings and ongoing coaching.
• Foster a workplace culture aligned with company values.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Maintain water quality and pool operations.
• Manage stock and place orders.
• Handle daily operations including enrolments and bookings.
• Oversee teaching hours as required.

We are specifically looking for someone who can be the face of the business who is motivated, friendly and efficient. Someone who is always looking for ways to improve. We are seeking someone with strong business acumen and a proven track record in growing businesses profitability as well as experience in the aquatic industry.

Your main responsibilities will include:

In charge of Safety in and out of water

Recruitment/training of staff

Rostering for water and admin hours

Staff development such as quarterly meetings and ongoing coaching to make the staff the best teachers that they can be

Create a great workplace culture that is consistent with our mission and values of the business

Ensure that the business policies, procedures and safe work are followed at all times

Water quality maintenance (pool operations)

Stock management and orders

Daily operations such as phone calls, enrolments and bookings

Teaching hours where required

Required Qualifications:

First Aid Certificate

Current CPR

Qualified Swim Teacher (AUSTSWIM)

Working with children check

Drivers Licence (preferred but not necessary)

Pool Operations (preferred but not necessary)
