Job summary

L&R Group is seeking enthusiastic individuals to coach swimming activities at the Condobolin Swimming Pool. You will deliver swimming programs, ensure water safety and provide excellent customer service to students and families.

Requirements include Working With Children Check and peak-body coaching qualifications (Swim Coach Fundamentals minimum). Onboarding includes site induction and access to the operations manual.

Qualifications

• WWCC is required.
• Coaching qualifications as per peak body with Swim Coach Fundamentals minimum.
• Strong swimming coaching and water safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Coach swimming techniques, strokes and water safety to students.
• Check and mark lesson attendance.
• Set up with correct equipment in teaching/coaching areas.
• Maintain knowledge of the Facilities Emergency Action Plan.
• Comply with facility safety, training and document control.

This position coaches swimming activities, programs and water safety across our water school activities and levels

WORK TASKS + RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Provide a child safe environment

Be professionally presented at all times.

Coaching swim techniques , strokes and water safety to students

Check and mark lesson attendance

Effective and friendly communication with students , parents and carers

Setup with correct equipment in designated teaching/coaching areas

Pack up equipment at end of session in a neat and tidy fashion

Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of the Facilities Emergency Action Plan

Comply with facility safety, training, and document control.

Take reasonable care for your own health and safety, and for the health and safety of others.

Setting up in a timely manner to start lessons at designated time.

Maintain industry qualifications, accreditation and professional development courses.
